Jr. Micro Sprints Rules

Age 8-15 PROOF REQUIRED

All cars will be subject to safety and technical inspection prior to and after competing.

550 lb. minimum weight after feature with driver.

250/270 Micro sprint chassis must be used

Wing not mandatory, but recommended.

Engine will be 9 H.P. Honda GX270 Industrial Motor – Model QAEZ Honda part #558400 with electric starter.

Starter switch must be within reach of the driver.

Motor must remain factory stock. NO MODIFYING PARTS.

Factory muffler is mandatory.

Minimum drive ratio 5.73 to 1

Gear ratio of 5.74 to 1 higher is legal.

Governor is not mandatory.

Shoe style clutch only. No plate clutches.

Pump gas only. NO HOT FUEL OR RACING GAS.

Gravity feed fuel only.

Air cleaner may be aftermarket.

$800.00 motor claimer on all engines in race day competition.

Must have a chain guard constructed to prevent chain from hitting driver in case of chain failure.

Front and rear bumper to be loop style and 4”-6” narrower than over all width of front and rear tires.

Maximum tire circumference 65”

All rules are subject to additions or changes as deemed necessary by track officials
