This coming week
will be the last Sunday that our races will begin at 6:00 p.m. Starting next week we will race at 5:00
p.m. Details below.
PLEASE NOTE: A TIME CHANGE ON OUR RACING SCHEDULE:
Starting with
the 8/31/08 race, we now will be starting to race at 5:00 p.m. on
Sundays. The gates will still open
at the same time 3:00—BUT pill draw ENDS at 4:30 p.m.

before our races this past week. We
also would like to thank our new sponsors for coming aboard. Garvin Transport Salvage and Sales for
donating the use of a push truck and to Freeport Fire Extinguisher Company
for donating new fire extinguishers to the track, pit area, spectator area,
concession stand, and parking lot.

per ticket), but concession stand will be open to those who did not
purchase a ticket and there also will be beverages for sale.
Camping is allowed, no hook ups available.

KITTEN
ALERT: We are now down to one lonely
kitten left from the 3 that were orphaned when their mother was hit by a
car. We have found homes for 2 of
them and now there is one left. If
you or any one you know would like to take her and give her a good home,
please contact Missy.

We now have

shirts available for sale at the concession stand. We have women’s and men’s sizes
Sm-2XL. The price is $15.00. The yellow shirt is in women’s sizes and
the gold shirts are the men’s sizes.

If anyone has
anyone in mind that they would like to dedicate a race or win to or to have
our racing “family” keep someone in mind and/or in their prayers, please
email the website or let the announcer know on that race day.
We now have
earplugs available at the concession stand for $2.00, so if you have a
little one or a racer who needs them, they are now available.

REMINDER: If there is some type of dispute during a
race and/or the night, there are protest forms to fill out and hand into
the office when picking up your payout.
Track officials are more than happy to address any problem, but just
cannot do so during the races of other division. Thank you for your cooperation.

**SCHEDULE ADDITIONS:
Due to the increase of participation and the request of drivers
and spectators—we will be running the 270 MICRO WINGLESS EVENT AND A 600
MICRO WINGLESS EVENT once a month for the duration of the race
season. The 270’s will run the first
Sunday of each month with the exception of September,
it will be the 2nd Sunday.
The 600’s will be running the 2nd Sunday of each month,
again with the exception of September, they will
be the 3rd Sunday. The
schedule has been revised and reflects all these dates as well as the dates
will be posted on home page with upcoming events. Thank you for your participation.
BLANKET HILL SPEEDWAY HOTLINE:
We now
have the Blanket Hill Speedway
Hotline hooked up. The phone number
at the track is: 724-543-7485. If you do not get an answer, please leave
a message and a track official will get back to you ASAP.
For any rider, driver, pit crew member,
or spectators that may come late after the front booth is not attended to,
please come to the concession stand and ask for assistance getting your
ticket or pit pass, the ladies in there will be able to help you.
Very Important: For the
safety of the spectators, if there is a RED flag incident on the track,
please stay away from the fence to observe.
We appreciate your attendance and want everyone to have fun
