2012 UPDATES/NEW ITEMS

Some updates/new items for 2012 race season:

1.  General admission will be $7.00 per person.  Senior and Junior will remain $3.00.

2.  Go carts will be racing this year on their own.  Racing will start at 11:00 a.m. for carts.  Gates will open at 9:30 a.m. with Registration open at 9:45 a.m. 

3.  Pit pass for go cart racing will be $15.00 per person and registration will be $5.00 per cart for kid classes and $10.00 per cart for adult classes.  Kid classes will not be paid out.  The registration fee, however, will be used for year end awards.  All kids that race 10 (or more) out of 20 races will receive an award at the year end banquet. IF you plan to stay all day and watch the regular show the pit pass fee will be $20.00 per person.  

4.  All go cart racers/families must exit the track facility within 1 hour upon completion of the last cart race.  If you have not left the facility, you will be asked to pay the $5.00 up charge on the pit pass which will allow you to stay for the evening show.

5.  Pit pass fees for the 5:00 p.m. Regular show will remain $20.00 per person.  Registration fee will remain $15.00 per car.  A registration fee will be required this year for any kid quad classes and/or junior mod lite classes and it will be $5.00 per vehicle.  Kid classes will not be paid out.  The registraton fee, however, will be used for year end awards.  All kids that race 10 (or more) out of 20 races will receive an award at the year end banquet.

6.  FOR ALL CLASSES - THERE MUST BE 3 OR MORE VEHICLES TO COUNT AS A RACE.  NO POINTS AND/OR PAYOUT WILL BE ISSUED IF LESS THAN 3 VEHICLES.  If this occurs, you will be returned the $15.00 registration fee, and you will be allowed to run an exhibition/practice.  So spread the word to your fellow race car drivers and let's get those car counts up!

7.  PRS Transit will be sponsoring the Mod Lite division for 2012.  There will be an additional $50.00 to be spread out among the top 5 finishers for each weeks feature.  There will also be a top 10 overall point fund payout to be given away at the year end banquet.  Thank you PRSTransit for coming on board this year!

8.  ALL PIT PARKING will be off the back stretch of the race track.  There will be NO pit parking up top behind the score tower.  All spectator parking will be up top behind the score tower.
